Key Components and Strategies
The project targets both girls and boys, implying inclusivity and equal opportunities for all children.
Providing proper nutrition is essential for children's physical and cognitive development. Parental guidance is important for children to move from Pizza-culture to Indian-kitchen-culture and the project includes creating awareness about nourishment versus taste, about importance of millets and learning sustainable eating habits inspired from our great grandparents.
Instilling good habits in children is crucial for their long-term success and well-being. This project focuses on teaching and reinforcing positive habits right from childhood.
Storytelling is a powerful way to impart values and life lessons to children, and we use this method to instill important values in them.
Encouraging a love for reading is vital for intellectual development, and this project promotes this among children by organizing relevant activities. This also covers educating parents and guardians on “hows and whys” of reading books together with children.
Teaching children about self-respect and the importance of respecting others is an essential aspect of character development and social harmony.
Adolescence is a critical stage in a person's life, and addressing issues specific to this age group is important for their overall well-being. Coping with the hormonal changes at this age is a challenge with both children as well as parents. We create a bridge from chaotic stage to smooth transition for both by organizing parent and children’s sessions
Sex education is a sensitive but essential topic for adolescents to ensure they have accurate information and make informed decisions. When, what, where and safe sex are some of the issues that are discussed with youngsters. Awareness about POCSO Act and other regulations are also shared with children.
Promoting a safe and non-violent environment for children is a fundamental aspect of this project. If this mind-set is developed at the teenage stage, we are hopeful that we will have a safer world to live in.
Fostering a sense of national pride and identity among children is often seen as important for a country's future. Understanding what is ‘citizenship’, how democracy helps us in leading a peaceful life are only some of the issues covered here.
Preserving and promoting cultural heritage is a way to connect children with their roots and instill a sense of identity and belonging. India is rich in its cultural heritage and building a nation while respecting our cultural values is what we aim to achieve through this.
Offering guidance on career choices can help children make informed decisions about their future
